Placing an order online

Buying is simple and purchases can be made anytime by adding your items to the bag and following the instructions. On request, we can alter the length of our chains, bracelets and rings by one of our experienced Goldsmiths, but it may increase the dispatch time of the item slightly. All out prices are in Pound Sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT at the current rate.

The price and weight provided on our website at the time an order is made is an estimate and subject to change. Occasionally, the final balance may vary reflecting the variation in costs of raw materials and manufacturing processes. We will confirm any changes with you before shipping and adjust the price accordingly. If you are not satisfied with the price change or weight, we will give you a full refund via the method that you originally paid with.

Deliveries

Currently, we deliver to the United Kingdom only. We may be able to deliver outside the UK upon special request, so if you wish to, please contact us.

The delivery date provided by us at the time an order is made is an estimate. We will use our best endeavour to deliver the goods on the estimated date for delivery or collection but do not guarantee to do so. Under no circumstances whatsoever, will we be liable to the customer for any loss, damage, or expenses, whether caused directly or indirectly, by or from any delay in the completion of an order.

Any loss or damage to the goods after delivery, whatever the cause, is the sole responsibility of the customer.

For deliveries in Time for Christmas 2023

We will endeavour to get all orders placed on or before the 14th of December to you in time for Christmas by post or courier.

Returns

The price provided at the time an order is made is an estimate and is subject to change. We will confirm any changes with you before shipping and adjust the price accordingly (this is an occasional occurrence). If you are not satisfied with the price change or weight, we will give you a full refund via the method that you originally paid with.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund but is at our discretion to offer you a credit note.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned, such as commissioned pieces, or intimate items such as earrings, nose studs etc for hygiene reasons, and personalised items such as items that have been engraved or rings resized/ links removed.  Sale items or preloved items are also non-refundable.

All claims in respect of goods alleged to be defective must be made in writing within 14 days from the date of delivery.

You can return your item in person to us at our Maidstone workshop or alternatively post your item back to us, stating the reason for your return. Pack your parcel securely in the original box along with your name, email address, contact number and proof of purchase.

Items returned will be sent at the customer’s expense and we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods. We strongly recommend sending by Royal Mail Special Delivery, so your package is tracked and insured to the correct value of the goods being returned to avoid any losses.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

We do not store customer credit/debit card details for security reasons. As soon as we receive your return and it has been approved, we will contact you via email or telephone and ask for your card details to arrange the refund via the original payment method. It can take between 5 to 7 working days before the transaction appears on your statement, depending on the speed at which your card issuer processes this.

Bespoke Items

An order is only confirmed when the customer has paid the minimum of 25% deposit of the estimated cost. We reserve the right to request a larger deposit. Payment of the balance is due before dispatch or collection by the Customer.

A confirmed order may only be cancelled or varied with our consent, which will not in any way prejudice our right to recover from the customer full compensation (including profit) for any loss or expense arising from such cancellation or variation of the original order. We are under no obligation to vary an order.

The completion date provided by us at the time an order is made, is an estimate. We will use its best endeavour to deliver the goods on the estimated date for delivery or collection but does not guarantee to do so. We, under no circumstances whatsoever, will be liable to the Customer for any loss, damage, or expenses, whether caused directly or indirectly, by or from any delay in the completion of an order.

All items of jewellery must be cleaned in accordance with instructions given by us, or the item should be taken to an established jewellery shop for cleaning. Zara Bullen Jewellery is not liable for any damage caused due to the customer not following these recommendations. Jewellery should be treated with reasonable care and should not be worn in bed, in the shower or bath, or during heavy work or exercise (Aftercare advice). We are not liable for any damage caused due to the customer not following these recommendations and is not liable for any costs associated with normal wear and tear during the lifespan of the commissioned jewellery.

Any damage or costs caused by repairs or alterations made by a third party are the sole responsibility of the Customer. We only carry out free-of-charge repairs on a commissioned piece of jewellery if it is faulty and returned to us within three months of the delivery date. Alterations, e.g. resizing of rings, are always chargeable.

We use high-quality plating solutions. Plating has a limited lifespan and items that receive more wear may need plating more regularly. We can only guarantee the life of plating up to three months from the date of purchase. After this period has expired, the Customer is responsible for the cost of re-plating the item.
All claims in respect of goods alleged to be defective must be made in writing within 14 days from the date of delivery.

We reserve the right to reproduce the designs and use images of designs.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@zarabullen.com and send your item to us using the shipping instructions below.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to Zara Bullen Jewellery, 42-44 Gabriel’s Hill, Maidstone, Kent ME14 6JJ.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery with insurance that covers the value of the item(s). We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
